Where did all of this come from?
Phase 1 of the comprehensive plan project
focused on gathering input to identify community needs
The first phase of the comprehensive plan process focused on learning from residents ideas for how to make Marshall Township an even better place to live.
Based on 2021 input from the steering committee, community questionnaires, key person interviews, public events and local leadership, four key issues rose to the surface.
-
Route 910 Traffic and Land Use
-
Green Space and Future Development
-
Recreation Facilities and Connectivity
-
Sense of Place and Identity

Community Input into the Key Issues
We asked for your ideas about Marshall Township's future, and you responded. Through more than 900 Community Questionnaire submissions, in addition to interviews and focus groups, some clear concepts began to take shape for the next decade of Township priorities.
